All educational institutions in Tashkent have been instructed when to start

Education in Tashkent's educational institutions - schools, lyceums and colleges, as well as higher education institutions - will begin on 23 January.  This was reported by the capital administration.

It is noted that the temperature in educational facilities is controlled by the Tashkent city administration and other responsible organizations.

It should be recalled that from 11 January this year, it was announced that general education schools in Tashkent will be opened gradually, depending on their conditions and readiness to work.

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation has announced the gradual start of classes in higher and professional educational institutions and academic lyceums from January 11.

On January 5 of this year, the Ministry of School and Pre-School Education announced that the winter vacation in all schools in Uzbekistan was extended until 17 January, and the third quarter of the 2022-2023 academic year will begin on 18 January 2023.  However, on 10 January of this year, he said that the authority to extend the winter vacation period was given to local governments, taking into account the weather conditions in the region.
