Individuals were caught attempting to sell unfit butter in Tashkent

In the Uchtepa district of Tashkent, authorities successfully prevented the sale of unfit butter products. The Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office reported the incident.
During an urgent operation conducted by the Uchtepa district department aimed at protecting the rights of business entities, a citizen identified as N.A. was found attempting to sell 400 kg of butter that failed to meet safety standards. The products were improperly packaged with trademarks indicating they were produced by "A.I." LLC and were subsequently seized as evidence.
In connection with this situation, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 186 of the Criminal Code, which addresses the production, storage, transportation, or sale of goods that do not meet safety requirements. Investigative actions are currently underway.
It’s important to note that similar cases of producing unfit oil products have previously been reported in the Shahrisabz and Guzor districts of the Kashkadarya region.
