Tico hits 3-year-old boy in Tashkent

A video circulating on social media shows a Tico vehicle striking a young child in Tashkent. The capital’s Road Traffic Safety Department has released an official statement regarding the incident.
The accident occurred on July 8 at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Kukcha Darvoza Street in the Shaykhantohur District. According to the report, the driver, identified as F.H., hit a minor pedestrian, A.Sh., born in 2022, who was crossing the road at an unmarked location.
Following the incident, medical personnel provided the child with first aid. An investigation has been launched by the Tashkent City Police Department’s Traffic Safety Division to determine the full circumstances of the accident.
For reference, a similar incident was recently reported in Tashkent’s Bektemir District, where a truck struck a pedestrian, resulting in the victim’s death at the scene.
