Truck strikes pedestrian in Tashkent's Bektemir District

Yesterday, April 13, a truck struck a pedestrian in the Bektemir district of Tashkent. This was reported by the capital's Road Traffic Safety Department.

The traffic accident occurred at 22:00 on Khanabad Street in the Bektemir district. According to the Road Traffic Safety Department, a driver named D.A., born in 1998, was driving a HOWO truck when he hit a pedestrian named G.D., born in 1969, who was crossing an unmarked section of the road. As a result, the pedestrian died at the scene due to his injuries.

A criminal case has been initiated by the Investigation Department of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department under Part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code (violation of the rules for the safety of the movement or use of vehicles). Investigations are currently underway.

It should be recalled that earlier in the Asaka district of Andijan region, a Matiz car hit two children running across the road.
