It was revealed why a sportsman beat his wife and son in Tashkent

Earlier, we reported that a sportsman brutally beat his wife and child in the Yangihayat district of Tashkent city.  New details about this incident have been disclosed.

According to the chairman of the neighborhood where this family lived, they moved to this neighborhood 3 years ago.  During this time, there were many quarrels in the family.  Protection warrants had also been issued 5-6 times.  However, the woman always withdrew her application.

According to the chairman of the neighborhood, the couple does in fact, love each other, and their conflicts are mainly caused by jealousy.  The chairman of the neighborhood said that he was surprised that the boy had been cruelly beaten because the man is actually a loving father who loves his children very much.  He had never acted like that before.

On the day of their last quarrel, the woman took her 3-year-old daughter and went to her mother’s house.  She told the head of the neighborhood that the man had beaten her son because he hadn't practiced well during a training session.

In connection with this situation, a criminal case was initiated by the Investigative Department of the Yangihayot District Internal Affairs Body under Article 109 (intentionally inflicting minor bodily harm) and Article 110 (torture) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.  The suspect was detained in procedural order.  The investigation is ongoing.
