On December 9, a passenger bus carrying 41 people, including two children, became stranded in the desert due to a malfunction on the Almaty-Tashkent highway, according to "Liter.kz".

The incident occurred in the Jualin district of Kazakhstan's Jambil region. Employees of the Emergency Situations Ministry promptly arrived at the scene to assist the passengers. All 41 people were safely evacuated to a heating station in the Shakpak-ota village.

"Thanks to the professionalism of the rescuers, none of the passengers were injured and did not require medical assistance," the report said.

It was revealed that most of the evacuated passengers were Russian citizens. After a short rest, they continued their journey on a replacement bus.

For reference, a similar incident occurred earlier in Kazakhstan's Pavlodar region, where a bus carrying passengers fell into a 150-meter-deep gorge, resulting in the deaths of four people.
