Damas' driver received a penalty for driving on the sidewalk in Tashkent

A video depicting Damas' vehicle driving on the sidewalk has circulated on social media. The Traffic Safety Department of the Main Department of Internal Affairs in the capital was informed of the incident.

The driver of the Damas vehicle was observed to have arbitrarily installed various accessories, such as an antenna, "blinker," and "siren" in the car, and was seen driving along Izzat street in Tashkent. Additionally, it was discovered that the license plate letters on the car were illegible.

The driver of the Damas vehicle admitted to violating traffic rules, stating, "I initially checked the sidewalk, and upon ensuring no pedestrians were present, I resorted to driving on it due to traffic congestion."

An administrative report was filed against the Damas driver, and the vehicle was impounded in a temporary penalty area.

It's worth noting that on March 24, a traffic accident involving six vehicles occurred in the Chilonzor district of Tashkent.
