Operation uncovers large-scale drug forgery and sale in Fergana

On February 15, a significant discovery was made at the Tashkent International Airport when medicines hidden in children's diapers were found. This was reported by the Tashkent-AERO specialized customs complex.

The incident occurred when customs officers conducted a thorough inspection of luggage belonging to a citizen who had arrived from Delhi, India. Despite traveling through the "green corridor" designed for passengers with no declared goods, the inspection uncovered 303 various types of medicines concealed within diapers.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the case and take appropriate actions.

It is worth noting that earlier, a similar operation led to the halt of the sale of counterfeit and uncertified medicines in the Fergana region.
