Father settles approximately 2 billion soums in alimony in Tashkent

5041In the Uchtepa district of Tashkent, a father has paid approximately 2 billion soums in alimony for the support of his three children until they reach adulthood, according to the press service of the Enforcement Bureau.
Based on a court's execution order, enforcement proceedings were initiated to collect alimony for the maintenance of the three minor children in favor of the creditor, identified as Sh.G., from the debtor, Sh.A. The debtor expressed his intention to settle the alimony amount in advance.
Following negotiations between the parties, the agreement was approved by the court. Consequently, Sh.A. transferred two non-residential properties valued at a total of 1 billion 825 million 137 thousand soums as part of the alimony settlement.
This follows a previous case in Tashkent where a father paid 16 years' worth of alimony in advance. The total amount calculated for the period from 2024 to 2040 was 818 million 895 thousand 193 soums. The debtor, in that case, paid alimony totaling 818 million 895 thousand 193 soums, along with a house, a Spark motor vehicle, and 2,000 US dollars to the creditor.
Additionally, in the Tashkent district of the Tashkent region, a woman recently paid 1.7 billion soums in alimony to her ex-husband for the support of their three children.
