Car engulfed in flames in Tashkent, authorities investigating

A Chevrolet Orlando caught fire in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent, according to a report from the Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department.

The incident occurred on February 27 at 13:13, when the Tashkent City Emergencies Department received a call about a car fire on Mustakillik Street. Fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene within five minutes, at 13:18, and managed to extinguish the flames by 13:20.

Authorities confirmed that no one was injured in the fire. Investigators from the Emergencies Department are currently working to determine the cause of the incident.

This is not the first vehicle fire in Tashkent recently. Earlier, a Gazelle caught fire on Shota Rustaveli Street in the Yakkasaroy district. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported in that case either.

Officials urge vehicle owners to regularly inspect their cars to prevent fire hazards and ensure road safety.
