Mother and child trapped in elevator in Tashkent

On April 9, a mother and child were trapped in an elevator in one of the apartment buildings in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

At 11:51 AM, the Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department received a report that citizens were trapped in an elevator in an apartment building located on Avaykhon Street in the Mirzo Ulugbek district and required immediate assistance.

Rescue teams from the district quickly arrived at the scene and, using special equipment, opened the elevator, safely rescuing the mother and child inside.

It should be noted that, earlier, children were trapped in an elevator in an apartment building in the city of Karshi, Kashkadarya region. Additionally, an elevator in an apartment building in Tashkent previously fell with people inside. On April 2, an elevator with people inside also became locked in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent.
