Not a single child has been kidnapped in Tashkent in the last 5 years, - the General Department of Internal Affairs of the capital Tashkent 

 Recently, on social networks, there have been reports of an increase in cases of kidnapping. Nilufar Isakhanova, head of the information and multimedia center under the General Directorate of Internal Affairs of Tashkent city, held a briefing on the situation.

So far this year, there have been 6 reports of child abductions in the capital. It was reported that every message was investigated, but not a single message was confirmed.

According to information, not a single case of child abduction has occurred in the territory of Tashkent for the past 5 years, and no criminal case has been initiated.

"Among the minors, there were those who went missing, but every child was found and returned safely to their families," - Nilufar Isakhanova says.

It is noted that the main reason for minors to leave home was family disputes. The reason for the disappearance of young children is that they got lost.

It was reported that in 2022, 231 minors were registered as missing. In particular, 32 children under 10 years old, 32 children between 10 and 14 years old, and 167 children between 14 and 18 years old were recorded in the list.

It should be reminded that a man who tried to steal a pupil in Tashkent was imprisoned for 10 days.
