Another young man was jailed for selling Notcoin in Tashkent

4749A 21-year-old man from the Karmana district of the Navoi region has been sentenced to 10 days in jail for engaging in illegal notcoin trading. This was reported by Zokirjon Qoziboyev, the press secretary of the Tashkent City Courts, to QALAMPIR.UZ.
According to the report, on June 28, 2024, an investigation was conducted based on a complaint registered by citizen A.A. at the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs. The investigation revealed that citizen G.Yo. was involved in illegal cryptocurrency activities using his phone and bank card. He had accumulated cryptocurrency on the Telegram messenger and sold 20,000 notcoins for $150.
The court found the young man guilty of violating Article 155-4 of the Administrative Responsibility Code (Violation of legislation in the field of cryptocurrency turnover) and sentenced him to 10 days of administrative detention.
Additionally, G.Yo. was fined 510,000 UZS, which is 15% of the base calculation amount. The confiscated phone was ordered to be destroyed according to regulations.
It is worth noting that earlier, a 19-year-old man in Tashkent was jailed for 7 days for selling notcoin.
