Tashkent guard threatens boss with axe over salary dispute

On July 30 of this year, a security guard in Tashkent threatened his supervisor with an axe while demanding a salary increase. This was reported by the Security Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the report, at 17:32, the Tashkent City Security Department received an emergency call from a guarded office located in the Yashnabad district. A rapid response unit was dispatched to the scene to assess the situation.

Upon arrival, it was discovered that a citizen identified as M.M., who works as a security guard at the office, had demanded a raise from the director and threatened to harm him with an axe.

Officers intervened and explained the legal consequences of such actions to M.M. As a result, both the axe and the knife that had been in his bag were confiscated. Official documents were prepared and submitted to judicial authorities for further consideration, along with the physical evidence.

Earlier in Namangan city, Namangan region, a man under the influence of alcohol threw a knife at his family members. Fortunately, no one was injured in that incident.
