5800The heating season in Tashkent is expected to end soon, as the average daily temperature in the city has remained above 8°C over the past five days. This was announced by “Veolia Energy Tashkent.”
It was noted that with the arrival of spring, warm weather and sunny days have returned to Tashkent. According to the Uzbekistan Hydrometeorological Service, the average daily temperature in the city between March 8 and March 14, 2025, was 11.6°C (with a minimum of 9°C on March 8 and a maximum of 13.1°C on March 14).
According to the July 15, 2014, resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers titled “Procedures for Heat Supply Services in Multi-Story Buildings,” heating seasons conclude when the average daily air temperature remains at 8°C or higher for five consecutive days. Based on this resolution, Tashkent city authorities will soon decide to officially end the 2024-2025 heating season.
Once the heating season concludes, preparations for the next season will begin. “Veolia Energy Tashkent” LLC reported that to ensure a more stable and efficient heat supply during the cold months, maintenance and capital repair work will be carried out on heating networks, local boiler houses, and pumping stations. Management companies and homeowner associations (UJMSHs) servicing multi-story buildings will need to prepare engineering communications for the next heating season. This includes cleaning, repairing, and upgrading heating systems in buildings.
“Apartment owners should pay close attention to the condition of their radiators, as comfort in the next heating season depends on it. We recommend having your heating radiators cleaned to ensure your home stays warm and cozy during the colder months,” the announcement added.
As a reminder, starting from midnight on November 5, 2024, Tashkent initiated heat circulation from its sources. By November 7, the process of supplying heating energy was gradually introduced.
