Two fake IIA officers were detained in Tashkent (video)

Two individuals impersonating officers of the Internal Affairs bodies were apprehended in Tashkent, according to the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department.

The Main Department of Personal Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report about two suspicious individuals dressed in the uniform of Internal Affairs officers in the Sergeli district. Acting on the information, law enforcement detained the suspects, who were confirmed not to be actual officers during the investigation.

Upon examination with witnesses, substances resembling potent drugs were discovered in their possession. These individuals, who reportedly had previous convictions, were taken into custody, and the substances were submitted for analysis. Legal actions were initiated based on the evidence.

"If you have been victimized by these individuals, please contact the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs immediately."

It is worth noting that in a similar case, a fake National Guard officer was detained at the Business Development Bank in Margilan, Fergana Region, earlier this year.
