An electric bus with passengers has an accident in Tashkent

In the Bektemir district of Tashkent, an electric bus carrying passengers collided with a pillar on the side of the road. This incident was reported by the information service of the "Tashshahartranskhizmat" joint-stock company.

It was reported that on September 7th, around 5:20 p.m., the driver G.I., who was traveling at a speed of 34-35 kilometers per hour from Suvsoz daha, in front of the Quyuv Mechanical Plant in the Bektemir district, was involved in an accident while driving the Yutong electric bus. The cause of this accident is believed to be the vehicles splitting into three lanes in the two-way traffic flow.

As a result of this accident, five passengers on the electric bus and the driver G.I. were injured. They were subsequently transported to the city's emergency medical clinic hospital and Tashkent City Clinical Hospital No. 4 for medical assistance.

Currently, the investigation of this traffic accident is being conducted by the personnel of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department's Road Traffic Safety Service.

We would like to remind you that an earlier incident resulted in the unfortunate death of a citizen in the Yakkasaroy district of Tashkent city. A.D., born in 1988, was driving his Yutong bus when he struck a pedestrian who was crossing the unmarked part of the road.
