Motorcyclist dies in collision with Hyundai in Tashkent

On April 29, a fatal traffic accident occurred in Tashkent's Yunusobod district involving a Hyundai vehicle and a Kawasaki motorcycle, according to the capital’s Road Safety Department.

The incident took place at 09:40 a.m. on KHAY Street, where a Hyundai car, driven by M.A., born in 1991, collided with a Kawasaki motorcycle operated by Z.Sh., born in 1986.

As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist died at the scene.

Following the incident, the Investigation Department of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department launched a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code for violating traffic safety regulations. A preliminary investigation is currently underway.

It should be recalled that a similar incident occurred earlier in Tashkent, when a Tracker vehicle struck a traffic patrol officer who was regulating traffic at a busy intersection.
