9464In the capital city of Tashkent, 45 residences of individuals associated with extremist radical organizations underwent searches, as reported by Tashkent HDIA.
Efforts are underway, in collaboration with HDIA and other law enforcement entities, to swiftly address instances of religious extremism and terrorism. Over the past three months, 50 criminal cases were initiated, 188 administrative reports were issued for violations, and legal measures were taken against 264 individuals.
"Dear citizens, refrain from joining radical groups via social media and from propagating their ideologies. Monitor your children's online activities, including the groups they join and the content they consume. If you have information on suspicious individuals influenced by foreign ideologies, contact authorities immediately at 102 or reach out to regional prevention inspectors or the nearest HDIA," the message emphasizes.
It's been announced since March 28 that the Central Security Service personnel have been operating with heightened vigilance to ensure the safety of Tashkent's residents.
