Several streets will be closed in Tashkent

Due to a duathlon competition that will take place in the city of Tashkent on 1 April, traffic will be restricted on several streets.  This was reported by the press service of the capital administration.

It was reported that on 1 April this year, the Uzbekistan duathlon championship between young men and women and amateurs will be held in the “New Uzbekistan” park.  Therefore, the movement of motor vehicles is restricted on the following streets:

•    From 07:00 a.m. to 08:00 a.m. – partially on the part of New Uzbekistan Street from Istiklal Street to the 3-story overpass;
•    From 08:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – full in both directions in the section of New Uzbekistan Street from Istiklal Street to the 3-story overpass;
•    From 08:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – Jasorat narrow street from Jasorat street to New Uzbekistan street will be closed.

“We apologize for any inconvenience caused to drivers and recommend that they use detours during this period,” the report said.
