A criminal case is opened in Tashkent in relation to a woman's self-immolation

Hayat Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office, stated that a criminal case was initiated following a woman's attempt to commit suicide by burning, in front of a shop in Tashkent.
"A criminal case has been initiated under Article 103 of the Criminal Code (committing suicide to the level of suicide) in connection with a 41-year-old woman's self-immolation in Almazor district," the report says.
It was reported that a court-related medical examination was ordered due to the woman's injuries.
The investigation is currently underway.
