The girl who stole gold items in the Chorsu market was sentenced to 8 years in prison. Zokirjon Qoziboyev, the press secretary of the Tashkent City Courts, informed QALAMPIR.UZ about this.

It is noted that the incident took place on March 9 of this year at 21:00 at the "Chorsu" flea market. The 25-year-old M.S. from Surkhandarya stole 187 pieces of gold rings, 27 pieces of gold bracelets, 123 pairs of gold earrings, 1 gold anklet, 44 pieces of gold chain wrist rings, 29 pieces of gold chains, 6 pieces of gold chains, and 24 pieces of jewelry accessories. These items, with a total value of 825,000,000 soums, belonged to the victim A.M. They were kept in an iron safe in the warehouse, and M.S. cut the lock of the entrance door to the basement of the store with a screwdriver she brought with her, stealing and hiding the items from the scene.

According to the court's conclusion, M.S. was convicted under Article 169 of the Criminal Code, part 4, paragraph "a", and sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment. It was also decided to recover 56,416,470 soums of material damage from M.S. for the benefit of the victim A.M.
