3 men kidnap 20-year-old girl in Tashkent

A video circulating on social media has revealed an incident where a 20-year-old girl was kidnapped by three individuals in a Cobalt car. The Tashkent city Main Department of Internal Affairs has provided details about the case.

According to the report, the kidnapping was orchestrated by a young man, identified as A., born in 1994, who, in collaboration with two acquaintances, abducted I., a girl born in 2004. The incident occurred in the capital.

The girl, I., reported that the first robbery took place near her home. Three people were involved, and later, they explained that they did not want to be filmed. She stated that she sustained small scars on her head from the attack, which have not healed and that she frequently suffers from headaches after the incident.

Psychologists and internal affairs officers are working with the victim.

It was revealed that the girl had previously been in a romantic relationship with A., the leader of the kidnapping group. She did not wish to leave him, which led him to kidnap her. In November 2024, he took the girl to the mountains, and she later ran away. Her parents reported her disappearance, but she returned a few days later, claiming no complaints.

On January 26, 2025, the girl was abducted again, and a video from the first kidnapping in November was shared online. Police found the girl on January 28, 2025.

A criminal case has been opened under Articles 137 (kidnapping) and 138 (illegal deprivation of liberty using force) of the Criminal Code. All individuals involved in the kidnapping have been identified and detained, and the precautionary measure of arrest has been applied.

The case is under the control of the Tashkent city police department, and a legal decision will be made after the investigation is completed.
