From June 9 to 12, the capital of Uzbekistan will host the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum, one of the country's most significant events in the field of economic diplomacy. This was announced by Ahror Burkhanov, press secretary of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

"This week is especially important for Uzbek diplomacy. Tashkent is becoming a center of opportunity for heads of state and government, influential investors, and entrepreneurs from around the world.

A tight agenda, high-level negotiations, influential meetings, and productive discussions will all help strengthen Uzbekistan’s new position on the global economic stage," Burkhanov said.

Projects presented at the forum will cover various sectors, from energy to digital transformation. Key initiatives include the New Tashkent project, an investment portfolio worth several billion dollars, and major agreements signed with partner countries—all of which demonstrate Uzbekistan's rising investment appeal.

More than 130 representatives from leading global media outlets such as CNN, BBC, Euronews, Reuters, Al Jazeera, and CGTN are expected to cover the forum and its events.

For reference, this is the fourth time the Tashkent International Investment Forum is being held. The first forum took place on March 24–26, 2022, followed by the second on April 27–28, 2023, and the third on May 2–3, 2024.

It is also worth noting that Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, who arrived in Uzbekistan on the evening of June 8, and Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, expected to arrive on June 9, will both participate in this year’s forum.
