Additional 110.4 hectares of Tashkent region were allocated to “New Tashkent” project

6071An area of 110.4 hectares in the Yuqori Chirchik district of the Tashkent region has been allocated for the development of "New Tashkent," a new city project. The decision was signed by regional governor Zoir Mirzaev on October 22.
According to the decision, the land, previously part of the state reserve, has been reclassified and designated for permanent use by the "Directorate for the Establishment of New Tashkent City." Areas within the "Uzbekistan," "Guliston," and "Istiqlol" neighborhoods of the district will now be part of "New Tashkent City." The process of preparing cadastral documents and completing state registration is currently underway.
Earlier, on March 13, the Council of People's Deputies of the Tashkent region decided to transfer 19,729.41 hectares of land to the New Tashkent project, including 17,323.32 hectares from the Yuqori Chirchik district and 2,406.1 hectares from the Urta Chirchik district. Additionally, on August 22, 158.67 hectares were allocated from the Yuqpri Chirchik district, including areas in the "Guliston" (66.67 hectares), "Istiqlol" (13.92 hectares), and "Istiqbol" (78.08 hectares) neighborhoods, for construction purposes.
