1177On January 11, three new four-car metro trains were delivered to the Tashkent metro system, according to a report from the metro’s press service.
These new trains will undergo a technical testing period of 9-10 days in accordance with established procedures before being put into passenger service. The addition of these trains is expected to help reduce the time intervals between trains, improving overall service efficiency.
In addition, it is planned that six more metro trains will be delivered to the Tashkent metro system in January and February 2025, further enhancing its capacity.
This new delivery follows the receipt of three trains from the "Metrovagonmash" plant in Russia on December 31, 2024. Additionally, three modern four-car metro trains were delivered on May 29, 2024, marking the continued expansion of the metro fleet to meet growing demand.
