10951Following a decree by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Akbar Joraboyevich Tashkulov, who has been working as the rector of the Tashkent State Law University, has been approved as the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov was informed about this.
It is known that Ruslanbek Davletov, who has been working as the Minister of Justice since 2017, was appointed to the position of adviser to the President on socio-political development issues yesterday 15 November, according to the Presidential decree.
Akbar Tashkulov, the new minister, was born in the Jizzakh region in 1971, has a higher education, graduated from the Tashkent State Legal Institute in 1994, is a jurist, 1st level judicial adviser, holder of the title "Honored lawyer of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
He started his career in 1994-1995 as a senior consultant at the International Legal Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Akbar Tashkulov worked in various responsible positions in the justice system, including the position of Deputy Minister of Justice from April 2017 to December 2021.
