21381By the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on 30 December 2022, Vladimir Imomovich Norov was appointed the director of the International Institute of Central Asia. This was reported on the Institute's Telegram channel
Vladimir Norov has already begun to fulfill his duties.
"I sincerely hope for more effective cooperation in studying the development of the Central Asian region. I wish everyone good health, prosperity and success in the new year 2023," said Norov.
It should be recalled that Vladimir Norov was released from the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs on 30 December 2022. He was replaced by Bakhtiyor Saidov, who worked as the Minister of Public Education.
