In the Surkhandarya region, a great deal of damage was caused to nature due to the burning of fields empty of grain. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change.
It is said that during the control activities carried out by the operational team of the Ecology Department of the Surkhandarya region in the Kumkurgan district, cases of burning of land empty of grain were found in a number of farms.
In particular:
- Operating in Kumkurgan district “B. F.” 10 hectares of grain-free land belonging to the farm were burned for the purpose of replanting. Regarding the situation, a report was made against the head of the farm F. S. Based on part 3 of Article 88 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. As a result of the crime, 21 million 286 thousand 980 sums were damaged to soil fertility.
- “H. M.” 10 hectares of land cleared of grain on the farm were burned for the purpose of replanting. Regarding the situation, a report was drawn up in accordance with Article 88, Part 3 of the Code on administrative responsibility against the head of the farm F.M. As a result of the crime, 17 million 548 thousand 113 sums were damaged to soil fertility.
- “E. N. Z.” In the farm, 5 hectares of land were cleared of grain and burned for the purpose of replanting. In connection with the situation, a report was drawn up against the head of the farm U. T. Based on part 3 of Article 88 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. 8 million 774 thousand 055 sums were damaged by this situation.
- “K. P.” 10 hectares of grain-free land belonging to the farm were burned for the purpose of replanting. Regarding the situation, a report was drawn up against the head of the farm I. E. Based on part 3 of Article 88 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. As a result of the crime, 17 million 520 thousand 822 sums were damaged to soil fertility.
- “E. H.” 13 hectares of grain-free land belonging to the farm were burned for the purpose of replanting. Regarding the situation, a report was drawn up against the head of the farm E. Q. Based on part 3 of Article 88 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. 27 million 918 thousand 690 sums were damaged by this situation.
- “Z.” 7 hectares of grain-free land belonging to the farm were burned for the purpose of replanting. Regarding the situation, a report was drawn up against the head of the farm B.Q based on part 3 of Article 88 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. As a result of the crime, 13 million 28 thousand 722 sums were damaged to soil fertility.
“The total amount of damage caused to nature due to burning of grain-free land in Kumkurgan district amounted to 106 million 074 thousand sums. The damage will be recovered from the offenders,” the report said.
