Uzbek citizen was wanted for involvement in armed attacks in Syria (video)

Davlat Ibrohim ugli Tillaberdiev, a citizen of Uzbekistan participating in armed attacks against the government in Syria, has been put on the wanted list. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this.  

It is noted that Davlat Tillaberdiev was born in 1995 in the city of Jizzakh, Jizzakh region. He was on the permanent register in the Alisher Navoi neighborhood of Jizzakh city. As a result of the search and rescue operations conducted in cooperation with the Jizzakh regional department of the State Security Service and the regional Department of Internal Affairs, it was revealed that this person came under the influence of an international terrorist and extremist organization in Turkey, and also left for Syria via roundabout routes in September 2019. That year, Tillaberdiev underwent special training at the Havan military base of the international terrorist organization “Tawhid and Jihad Secretariat” in the territory of this country and began to participate in armed attacks against the Syrian government.  

In March 2023, this person was charged with committing crimes under Part 1 of Article 155² (Training, leaving or moving for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities), Part 1 of Article 244² (Creating, leading, participating in religious extremist, separatist, fundamentalist or other prohibited organizations) and Part 3 of Article 244¹ (Preparing, storing, distributing or displaying materials that threaten public safety and public order) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and a wanted list was declared for him.  

Citizens with information about this person are asked to report it to the internal affairs bodies or to the 102 number. The identity of citizens who provide information will be kept confidential.  

It should be recalled that earlier it was reported that militants of the Syrian radical group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and their allies captured dozens of towns and villages in the north-west of the country and approached the city of Aleppo in fierce battles with the Syrian army. 255 people were killed in the fighting that lasted for several days. In the north and north-west, more than 50 villages and towns in the provinces of Aleppo and Idlib are under the control of HTS and allied groups.
