“Sogdiana” signs contract with former Uzbekistan national team defender Egor Krimet

Jizzakh football club “Sogdiana” has officially added former Uzbekistan national team defender Egor Krimets to its squad. The announcement was made by the club’s press service.

“In preparation for the new season, ‘Sogdiana’ continues to strengthen its roster with experienced players. The club has signed a contract with Egor Krimets, a seasoned defender and former member of the Uzbek national team. The agreement is valid until the end of 2025,” the statement reads.

Krimets, 32, played for “Surkhon” last season. Over the course of his career, he has represented clubs including “Pakhtakor,” “Beijing Goan,” “Navbahor,” and “Surkhon.” He debuted for the Uzbekistan national team in 2013.

Previously, it was reported that Navoi's “Kyzilqum” club signed renowned goalkeeper Sanjar Kuvvatov.
