It was announced when classes will begin in universities and schools in Syrdarya

Classes and activities will begin on 13 January for high school students of existing schools in the Syrdarya region, and on 16 January for elementary and kindergarten students.  This was reported by the regional administration.

It is noted that from today 11 January, studies in higher educational institutions, colleges, and lyceums started gradually.  In this regard, the issue of creating conditions for pupils and students who are studying in other regions or remote areas, and organizing online classes was also considered.

It should be recalled that today, it was announced that educational processes will gradually begin in general education schools in Tashkent, depending on their conditions and readiness to work., It was also announced that the educational processes will resume today, that is, from 11 January, in the schools of the Andijan and Khorezm regions.

In addition, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation announced the gradual start of classes in higher and professional educational institutions and academic lyceums from 11 January.

On 5 January of this year, the Ministry of School and Pre-School Education announced that the winter vacation in all schools in Uzbekistan was extended until 17 January, and the third quarter of the 2022-2023 academic year will begin on 18 January 2023.

The center of hydrometeorological service says that the abnormally cold weather in the country will continue until the end of the week.
