Son arrested for kicking father out of the house in Syrdarya

A son who insulted his father and kicked him out of the house in the Khovos district of the Syrdarya region has been arrested for five days. This was reported in the “Zamon” program.

It was revealed that conflicts between the father and son had occurred previously, a fact confirmed by the neighborhood inspector. The son had gone to a teahouse with his friends, consumed alcohol, and returned home drunk. After arriving, he shouted at his father, who was home alone, argued with him, insulted him, and eventually forced him out into the street. Out of frustration, the father turned to the police.

“He came home and threw himself at me. He tried to hit me first — and he did. I sat outside until four in the morning,” the father said.

In court, the accused asked for leniency, claiming he was under the influence of alcohol. He was found guilty of committing an offense under Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (petty hooliganism) and sentenced to five days of administrative arrest.

It is worth noting that earlier in the Jizzakh region, a father insulted his children and severely beat them. In that case, the Jizzakh Regional Department of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case under Part 2, Article 110 (torture), Subparagraph “a” of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
