Officials looted 1 billion soms in Syrdarya

It was found that former officials of the unitary enterprise "Regular use of Sirdarya roads" were robbed of 1 billion 6 million soms.  This was reported by UzA.

Former officials of the unitary enterprise "Regular use of Sirdarya roads" by the State Security Service budget, had funds allocated for the repair of highways between 2018-2021.  Wages and worker incentives were included - a total of 1 billion, 6 million.  It was found that soms were looted.

In connection with this situation, a criminal case has been initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and investigations have been carried out.

Also, the former head of this unitary enterprise H.O., former chief accountant S.Sh., former accountant H.S., former head of department M.Sh., and 10 other individuals were charged and sent to court.

According to the verdict of the Sayhunabad district court on criminal cases, the culprits were sentenced to imprisonment, correctional work, and other types of punishment prescribed by law.

Consequently, 767 million soms of the looted budget funds were recovered.  The remaining amount of 239 million soms were sent to the Compulsory Enforcement Bureau for compulsory collection.
