Enterprise that stole nearly 1.5 billion sums of electricity detected in Syrdarya

A limited liability company that illegally used 1.4 billion sums worth of electricity has been exposed in the Syrdarya region. This was reported by Uzenergoinspektsia.
According to the report, during an inspection, it was discovered that external influence had been exerted on the electricity meter installed for electrical devices at the O.M.G. limited liability company located in Syrdarya district, leading to the illegal use of electricity.
As a result of this violation, preliminary calculations revealed that the electricity supply enterprise incurred losses of 1 billion 460 million sums.
“Preliminary investigation work is currently being conducted by law enforcement agencies,” the report stated.
It is worth recalling that from April 1 to 7 of this year, cases of illegal use of energy resources worth 19.5 billion sums were stopped across Uzbekistan.
