A new mayor has been appointed to the Sirdarya district

Today, March 13th, Musurmonqul Khotamov was designated as the governor of Sirdarya district, as announced by the press service of the Syrdarya regional government.

During an extraordinary session of the Council of People's Deputies in Sirdarya district, regional governor Akmaljon Mahmudaliyev presented Musurmonqul Abdumannonovich Khotamov as the nominee for the district governor position. The decision to appoint Musurmonqul Abdumannonovich Khotamov as the governor of Sirdarya district was unanimously endorsed by the deputies.

For context, Musurmonqul Khotamov, born in 1986 in Khavos district, graduated from Gulistan State University in 2010. He has held various roles in tax authorities across Boyovut district, Shirin city, and Oqoltin district throughout his career. Before his current appointment, Khotamov served as an assistant to the mayor, overseeing entrepreneurship development, employment, and poverty reduction in the community assembly of citizens of Boyovut district.

It's worth noting that on March 11th, Komiljon Mullajonov, who had been leading the regional branch of the joint-stock commercial bank "Mikrokreditbank" in Syrdarya region, was appointed as the governor of Saykhunobod district.
