Ishmurzoev Akbarali Abdujabborovich has been appointed as the mayor of the Shorchi district, according to a report from the Surkhandarya regional government’s press service.
Akbarali Ishmurzoev was born in 1982 in the Denov district. He graduated from Termiz State University in 2003 and 2009, specializing in vehicle management and finance.
Throughout his career, Ishmurzoev held various positions in executive authority, notably serving as the deputy governor of Uzun and Angor districts. Before being appointed mayor, he worked as the deputy mayor of the Denov district, overseeing construction, communications, communal economy, ecology, and greening issues since 2023.
As a reminder, new leaders were recently appointed to the Shaikhontohur, Muzrabot, and Mirzo Ulugbek districts.
