The captain of the national team of Uzbekistan, Eldor Shomurodov, is close to continuing his career in the Italian club Cagliari. Football journalist Nikola Skira announced this on his Twitter page.
According to the source, “Cagliari”, which returned to Serie A, will rent Shomurodov for one season with the condition of buying him from “Roma”. At the end of the lease period, the parties sign a 3-year contract. The agreement is expected to be officially announced soon.
The 28-year-old striker has been playing on loan for “Spetsia” since January, played in 16 matches and scored 1 goal and assisted 2 goals.
