Roma striker Eldor Shomurodov may leave the club during the upcoming winter transfer window, according to journalist Nicolo Schira.

The source reports that Roma’s head coach, Claudio Ranieri, does not see Shomurodov in his plans moving forward. Despite having a contract that runs until the summer of 2027, the club’s management is looking to reduce financial strain and is open to selling the 29-year-old forward.

Shomurodov joined Roma from Genoa in the summer of 2021. Before his stint in the Italian capital, he played for clubs including Rostov, Spezia, and Cagliari.

So far this season, the Uzbek international has made 12 appearances for the Wolves, scoring twice and providing one assist.
