In the 29th minute, Leonardo Spinazzola put the visitors ahead, giving Napoli the lead. However, in the second minute of stoppage time (90+2’), Roma defender Angelino equalized, preventing his team from suffering a defeat.
Uzbek striker Eldor Shomurodov played 80 minutes for Roma before being substituted.
With this result, Roma increased its tally to 31 points, placing 9th in the league standings. Napoli, despite conceding late, remains at the top with 54 points.
