Roma offers £20 million for Jadon Sancho 

The Italian FC Roma has offered £20 million to buy the winger of England nation team Jadon Sancho from Manchester United. A 25-year-old player has not joined training sessions of his current club yet and was given a task to find a new club by the end of the summer transfer window on September 1, the BBC reported. 

Sancho was transferred to Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund for £73 million four years ago. He spent half of the last season at Chelsea on loan and returned to Manchester United in the summer after the London club renounced their obligation to purchase him and paid a £5 million fine.  

Apart from Roma, the Juventus Football Club, which will participate in the Champions League, has also expressed interest in buying Sancho. The Roman club is not only discovering options for direct transfer, but also a loan option with a purchase option at the end of the season.  

Sancho’s contract with Manchester United is set to expire next summer. The club had a chance to extend the contract’s term, but the situation was complicated due to the player’s high salary. The club would prefer to sell him, but is thinking about transferring him on a loan deal to reduce the wage burden as the transfer window nears an end. 

Earlier, the Italian Football Club Milan expressed interest in Rasmus Højlund’s transfer from Manchester United.
