Poet Mansur Jumayev passes away at his 33

Mansur Jumayev, a member of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan and a gifted poet, has passed away at the age of 33, as confirmed by the Union’s press service.

Born on February 17, 1991, in the Mirishkor district of the Kashkadarya region, Jumayev graduated from the Faculty of International Journalism at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages. His published poetry collections include "White Dreams" (Oq orzularim), "Songs of Surprise" (Hayrat qo‘shiqlari), "The Season We Expected," (Biz kutgan fasl), and "Hazrati Ishq".

His works have also been translated into multiple languages, earning him a devoted readership with his philosophical and heartfelt poems.

In related news, the Hero of Uzbekistan, Akhmed Narzullayev, passed away last week at the age of 68, and today marks eight years since the passing of national poet and Hero of Uzbekistan Abdulla Oripov.
