Those who promised jobs in medical institutions detained

In the Andijan and Jizzakh regions, individuals who promised to secure employment in medical associations have been detained. This was reported by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office.

According to the report, during an operation conducted jointly by the Pakhtaabad District Department of the agency and the Internal Affairs Department, the head of the personnel department of the Pakhtaabad District Medical Association, B.Kh., was caught red-handed while receiving \$500 from citizen M.S. in exchange for securing a job placement in the medical association.

Similarly, during another operation carried out in cooperation with the Jizzakh City Department and the Internal Affairs Department, citizen X.E. was detained with material evidence while accepting 21 million soums from citizen Sh.A. in exchange for placing him in the Dustlik District Medical Association

Criminal cases have been initiated under Article 168 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code, and investigative procedures are currently underway.

It is worth noting that earlier, a teacher at a secondary school in Nukus was caught receiving $1,000 from a colleague working in the Chimboy District to pass tests required for obtaining a professional certificate. This was done under the instructions of the school’s deputy director.
