In accordance with the decree and resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 29, a group of young people who are making a worthy contribution to the development of New Uzbekistan through their knowledge, talent, initiative and dedication were awarded the Kelajak Bunyodkori medal and the Mard O‘g‘lon state award. Today, June 30, on Youth Day, an award ceremony was held at the Olympic Village in Tashkent. The Presidential Press Service reported this.

The head of state noted that every young person in the country has great potential, talent and ability.

“You are worthy successors of our great ancestors, who in their time made an enormous contribution to world civilization with their great discoveries and were the ‘light of reason’ of the First and Second Renaissances. Of course, being a successor is not only a matter of pride; it is also a great responsibility!

Just as our ancestors accomplished great deeds for the development of humanity, you must become the force that lays the foundation for a new era of awakening in New Uzbekistan — the Third Renaissance!” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

After that, the President presented state awards to the young people.

“On behalf of our entire nation, I once again congratulate today’s recipients of state awards. May this high recognition lead you toward new achievements! May your ranks continue to grow!” the Uzbek leader said.

The award-winning young people expressed gratitude for the opportunities being created by the state and emphasized that they are ready to continue making a worthy contribution to the country’s prosperity through their knowledge, work and initiatives.
