On February 24, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented a car to a fourth-grade student who performed a song live during a meeting with young people at the Kuksaroy residence, the Ministry of Culture reported.

According to the statement, during the meeting, Otamurod Reimboyev, a fourth-grade student of Children’s Music and Arts School No. 11 in the Urgench district of Khorezm region, performed a song from the repertoire of Komiljon Otaniyozov live, leaving a strong impression on the audience with his talent.

“Otamurod’s talent and stage performance were especially recognized by our President, who presented him with a car,” the statement said.

Earlier, it was reported that Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with young people at the Kuksaroy residence. During the meeting, several new initiatives for youth were announced. In particular, under the housing mortgage program aimed at supporting young families, the portion of the interest rate exceeding 14 percent will be covered by the state budget. In addition, the “Second Chance” project will be launched for young people who have served their sentences. A Volunteer Support Fund will be established under the Youth Affairs Agency. Within the framework of the “My First Profession” program, university graduates undertaking internships will receive scholarships of up to 2 million soums. Thursdays will also be designated as “Youth Day” at ministries, agencies, and local administrations across Uzbekistan.
