In the 10th round of the Chess Olympiad held in Budapest, Hungary, the Uzbekistan men's team faced China, while the women's team competed against England.

Nodirbek Abdusattarov initially secured a draw for the men’s team, but despite Shamsiddin Vahidov's victory, Uzbekistan ultimately lost to China with a score of 1.5:2.5.

For the women's team, Umida Omonova and Nodira Nodirjonova triumphed over their opponents, while Afrauza Hamdamova and Nilufar Yaqubboyeva managed draws, leading to a 3:1 win for Uzbekistan over England.

The Indian team, the leaders and favorites of the competition, defeated the USA with one round remaining, increasing their points to 19 and securing the championship ahead of schedule. Uzbekistan's men's team still has a chance to win the bronze medal, while the women's team, with 14 points, ranks 18th. India is also leading the women's standings.

The final round of matches will be held today, September 22.

It was previously reported that Uzbekistan had drawn against India.
