Today, on the morning of August 1, Uzbekistani professional boxer Shahram Giyosov extended his undefeated streak by participating in another bout on the undercard of the fight between Isroil Madrimov and Terence Crawford.
In a 10-round match in Santa Monica, USA, Giyosov triumphed over Mexican Miguel Parra by points. Two judges scored in favor of Shahram (96:93, 95:94), while one judge scored in favor of Parra (95:94).
As a result, the 30-year-old Parra suffered the fifth defeat of his career, and Giyosov celebrated his 16th victory.
It should be noted that the main card of the tournament organized by "Riyadh Season" will take place on August 3. In the main event, Uzbekistan's Isroil Madrimov will compete for the WBA belt and the inaugural WBO middleweight belt against American Terence Crawford.
