Fraudsters who promised to enter the higher education institution are caught

In several regions, a group of people who promised to enroll in a higher education institution were arrested.  This was reported by the press department of the State Security Service.

According to it, in a quick operation conducted by the employees of the Andijan regional department of the State Security Service in cooperation with the regional department of the Department of Combating Economic Crimes and the regional Department of Internal Affairs, a person living in Andijan, born in 1996, was caught with physical evidence when he entered the trust of another person and received 19 thousand US dollars in exchange for enrolling him in the Andijan State Medical Institute.

During the quick investigation, it became known that this citizen had to give 16,000 US dollars from this amount to the person working in the position of deputy dean at the Andijan State Medical Institute, and he was caught when he received the requested money.  The teacher of this higher educational institution, who was involved in this illegal work, was also arrested.

In addition, in an operational event conducted by the State Security Service for Tashkent region in cooperation with the regional department of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, a person living in the Upper Chirchik district was caught while receiving 12.5 thousand US dollars in exchange for enrolling 2 citizens in the elementary education course of the Chirchik State Pedagogical University.

In addition, during a joint operation of the Department of State Security Service for Bukhara Region and the Regional Department of the Department under the General Prosecutor’s Office, an employee of the Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute was arrested while demanding 5,000 US dollars and receiving 4,000 US dollars in advance in exchange for letting 2 citizens pass the exams for admission to the military education faculty of this higher educational institution.

In particular, in an urgent event held by the officers of the Department of State Security Service for the Syrdarya region and the regional department of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, a person living in Gulistan district, born in 1991, convicted of a previous fraud crime, demanded 4,000 US dollars and 3,900 US dollars in exchange for enrolling a citizen living in Fergana region in the physical education department of Gulistan State University. And was caught while receiving 1 million 150 thousand sums.

In particular, a person living in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent city, born in Khorezm region in 1995, was arrested when he received 1,600 US dollars in exchange for entering into the trust of another person and getting his son to complete the 2nd stage of the university in the Republic of Kazakhstan and enroll him in the 3rd stage of one of the higher education institutions in Uzbekistan.

Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against these persons in connection with all the cases, and investigations are being carried out.

Let’s remind that in Kashkadarya, the persons who asked for 17,700 dollars to deliver “National certificate” to teachers and applicants were arrested.
