The upcoming session of the Senate of Uzbekistan’s Oliy Majlis has been scheduled, although the exact date has yet to be officially confirmed. The session will address key legislative and socio-economic issues affecting the country.

Meanwhile, in other news, authorities in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent have thwarted the sale of substandard butter products. The Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor’s Office reported that a group of individuals conspired to sell 400 kilograms of butter that did not meet consumer health and safety standards.

During an event organized by the Uchtepa district branch to protect the rights of business entities, citizen N.A. was found involved in the illegal sale of these unfit products in the parking garage of the "Diydor" neighborhood. The butter was falsely labeled with trademarks indicating it was produced by an LLC, and the goods have since been confiscated as evidence.

As a result, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 186 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan, which deals with the production, storage, and sale of goods that do not meet safety standards. Investigations are ongoing to determine further details of the case.

It is worth noting that similar incidents of unfit oil product production were previously uncovered in the Shahrisabz and Guzor districts of the Kashkadarya region.
