The party that receives at least 7% of the votes of the voters wins the seats of the deputies

It is determined that the party that received at least seven percent of the votes of the voters who took part in the voting for the single electoral district will have the seats of deputies in the established manner. During the environmental party faction meeting, the second reading of the draft law "On amendments and additions aimed at further improving the procedure for conducting elections and referendums in certain legal documents of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was considered.

This project envisages conducting the election to the Legislative Chamber in a mixed electoral system, which is a majoritarian-proportional form.

A number of innovations have been included in the draft constitutional law. For example, it is determined that the party that received at least seven percent of the votes of the voters who took part in the voting for the single electoral district will have the seats of deputies in the prescribed manner.

If no party has collected at least seven percent of the votes, it is assumed that the election will not be held.
